The Audre Lorde Legacy Festival takes place over two days at the Korean Studies Center. Presentations include readings, a reception both days, and showings of documentary films on the life and work of this poet whose output confronted issues of racism in feminist thought. Thursday evening in the Art Auditorium, the Festival is proud to host the Hawai‘i Premier of Audre Lorde: The Berlin Years 1984 to 1992 (2012), with an introduction and Q&A session by the director, Dagmar Schultz.
