Korean Language Flagship Center Lecture: The Traditional Korean Wedding Ceremony

Presenter: Sang Lee

Sang Lee will discuss and demonstrate the customs embodied in traditional Korean wedding ceremonies. Mr. Lee is a distinguished artist of the Korean community in Hawaiʻi. Over the past thirty-five years, he has made many artistic contributions to the Islands by introducing rich Korean traditions such as wedding ceremonies, calligraphy, and paintings. His dedication as an artist and his knowledge and expertise in preserving Korean traditions are greatly appreciated by the local community.
