34th Annual Symposium:  Pedagogy & Community Building

We are happy to share with you the program of our Center for South Asian Studies’ (CSAS) Symposium – Pedagogy and Community Building.

It has all come together very well at a very crucial time, when we need communities of empathy and joy as well as resistance and resilience. I am proud to say, in the symposium we are representing India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan…and Hawaii, Asia-Pacific, and beyond. We are scholars, writers, educators, philosophers, linguists, public servants, activists, media personalities, anthropologists, post-colonialists, sustainability scientists, musicians, theater directors, film makers, dancers, peace-builders and so much more.

We cordially invite you to the symposium panels. Your schedule is busy, of course, but here’s hoping that a miraculous time-warp will appear and free you for some vibrant intellectual exchange.

Please spread the word to your departments, friends, colleagues, students, community.
