Georganne Nordstrom is an assistant professor of English and the writing center director. Her teaching and research interests include indigenous and minority rhetoric, place-based pedagogy, writing center pedagogy, and empirical research. Her work has been published in journals such as College Composition and Communication, College English, and The Writing Center Journal, and she is co-editor of the anthology Huihui: Navigating Art and Literature of the Pacific. In 2012, Nordstrom received the Richard Braddock Memorial Award for Best Article in College Composition and Communication.
Dr. Craig Santos Perez – English
Dr. Craig Santos Perez is a native Chamorro originally from the island of Guam. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of San Francisco and a PhD in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, he is an associate professor in the Department of English, where he has taught creative writing and Pacific literature courses since Fall 2011. He has co-edited two Chamorro literature anthologies, and he has published three collections of poetry, for which he has received the PEN Center USA/Poetry Society of America Literary Award and an American Book Award.
